As we transition into a new year, it’s always a great time to look ahead, and 2014 is looking set to be an amazing year for all secretaries and administrators in the workplace.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Did you know that a fifth of the world’s working population works in Administration? That’s a huge number of people to celebrate The International Year Of The Secretary and Admin Assistant 
\n\t<\/span><\/em>–or IYOTSA 2014.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

IYOTSA is the brainchild of members of PAFSA, the Professional Association for Secretaries and Administrative Assistants (South Africa), which has more than 9,000 members.<\/span><\/p>\n

I learned of IYOTSA through Lucy Brazier<\/a>, a UK-based publisher of the international magazine Executive Secretary. Lucy has taken on the role of Global Brand Ambassador for IYOTSA 2014.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\n
