Training Workshops

My training work has evolved over many years, and I am constantly revising my workshops in line with new innovations and developments. My aim in training is to use a stimulating, interactive approach that brings training sessions alive, keeping participants interested and motivated. I conduct several public workshops regularly in Singapore. You can see a full listing of all my public workshops if you visit Shirley's Schedule.

Having had the good fortune of receiving success through my books on business writing and communication, I am pleased to say that my most popular two-day workshop is Strengthen Your Business Writing Skills.

With my background in secretarial work and my career in teaching secretarial subjects, my one-day workshop Success Skills for Secretaries and Support Staff is also very popular.

In conjunction with my book Guide to Effective E-mail, my one-day workshop Energise your E-mail Writing Skills is now proving popular with those who wish to improve their e-mail skills and write more effective messages.

I am also happy to be asked to conduct many in-house workshops for companies, so if you have a specific group for training, please contact me to discuss your requirements.

See Testimonials to find out what participants say about my training. Oh, and don't forget to visit my Guest Book, where I'm happy to say many past participants leave me messages from time to time.

I just have to tell you how impressed I was with you when I attended the 2 days course on "Power Up Your Business Writing Skills". I have attended many courses for the last 5 years. Very often, these courses were dull and uninteresting. In order to relieve the boredom, I would end up reading comics or stories books in those classes.

It was different with your lecture. The class was filled with laughter and everyone was eager to participate actively.

Shirley, you are such an interesting teacher.
