Undersigned

Great grandfather used to refer to himself as a third person, ie "Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned if you require any further information." Unfortunately, I still see people using this in their messages. What we should be writing is, "Please call me at xxxx if you need any further information."

Use/Utilise

Use is much better than utilise.

For example:

I used the dishwasher.
John used the scissors to open the box.
You should use a tissue to blow your nose.
