Jargon could mean terminology<\/em> or language<\/em>. In this case, when writing specially for those in your field, it can
\n\tshow you as knowledgeable. <\/o:p><\/p>\n

However, when communicating with
\n\tothers outside your field, jargon<\/em> can mean gobbledygook, and it can be irritating and confusing. <\/o:p><\/p>\n

For example:<\/o:p><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is medical jargon<\/em> that the layman cannot understand.<\/p>\n

This essay is very academic and it’s filled with jargon<\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n
